Love Life Ministry is an ecumenical outreach ministry which actively fulfills basic infant needs of low-income families in the greater Green Bay area. This is done in response to Jesus’ command:
Truly I tell you, whatever you do for one of the least of these, you do for Me. – Matthew 25:40
Beginnings
The Love Life Ministry began in 1993 at St. Joseph Catholic Parish in Green Bay. It was housed in the basement of the rectory until September 28, 2016. At that time, the ministry moved into the Hope Center located at 505 Clinton Street, Green Bay. The ministry recognized the importance of supporting new life in our midst. The parish began providing diapers, layettes, baby clothing, and furniture to eligible families. As the needs grew, so did the support of other churches and agencies. In October 2004, the program expanded to include an east side location at Peace United Methodist Church, and an ecumenical partnership grew.
Partners and Funding
The Love Life Ministry works closely with local hospitals, churches, community organizations, and health and family services to offer services to those in need.
Love Life Ministry is an all-volunteer program which depends upon the generosity of the community. Local churches, community organizations and individuals provide funding, supplies and support to this program.
Monetary donations enable Love Life Ministry to purchase diapers and other baby items. As the need for help continues to grow, so does the need for volunteers. Love Life Ministry welcomes anyone who wishes to volunteer.
